Afaik , for hifi ( that's what's the clock out on transporter is for ) the best you could possible do is to slave the transport whatever to the DAC clock then you get jitter free transport , introducing a third separate device has its own problems and is not better for playback ( introduces other issues ,se numerous old treads about the transporter ) but pro people has to do it because they own like >50 devices that's going to sync , this could also include video then they are happy if the frames match between video devices. And given reasonable design of any DAC + any transport , you are not going to hear that ,in fact no one does in controlled tests .
