I think that having the German's involved in PANAVIA kept the Tornado
relevant to the needs of its customers, after all they have lots of
experience in bombing differing places throughout the world. The Italians
were the ones that insisted on Tornado having REVERSE thrust. (Hehe)

And the German's make much better sailplanes than the poms, and
unfortunately, better than us Aussies.

Our club Janus PENETRATES the atmosphere much better than the Platypus,
Puchacz and even the Kestrel.
