I second Derek's comments. Last year, our overworked secretary spent many, many hours filling in the reams of paper needed to apply to have our AOC *renewed*. He also had to rewrite our Ops Manual to cover items not covered in the GFA Ops Manual (MOSP), and then was knocked back. This AOC was only to allow us to offer "joy flights" to the public instead of insisting they take an AEF when they expressed the desire to *definitely* not touch the controls. We still haven't received an AOC. Now it seems that we will be *forced* to get one to be able to offer our own members tuition. I hope they make the process easier than it is at present !! What is GFA doing to fight this CASA idiocy ? I take some heart from the Press Release from John Anderson. At least CASA should be talking to GFA. Cheers, John G.
