If I enter a mobile phone number with a + ahead of the number, as soon as I click on save, the + goes away and only the number is left. I cannot guarantee this, but so far as I have tried, this number doesn't seem to get through so I assume the + has been dropped completely. There have been some recent changes to the SPOT site, sign on and activation probably based on the release of the SPOT2 and they have not updated the help and other info to match the new interface. An email gets through almost instantly but that's not much use to check if the system is working. I was trying to use an email to SMS based service but I can't seem to get that working either and there are reports here and there that Telstra does not have this service in OZ anyway.
