XC-Soar works fine on the Oudie

I really have no comment on how XCSoar runs on the Oudie, never seen or done it. But the comment is about out of line for open source. What phone do you use? Is Android more niggly than iOS? Maybe. What about Chrome vs IE? Open Office vs Office? Firefox? List could go on for a few pages in 8 point font. Quality of projects, installation, documentation and usability is not based on whether it is open source or not. Of course there is a lot more open source software, so you get more of all types :-) Scott
