Hi Folk,

As someone that used to use SeeYou Mobile for many years, the biggest issue is 
the lack of an Android version, which forced me onto XCSoar due the available 
hardware.

Having come across to the dark side, I must admit I can't see me going back 
given the capabilities of XCSoar, and the rapid development cycle of both 
hardware and software in this ecosystem.

As far as bug fixing goes there seems to be a robust quality approach that 
delivers stable releases on a regular basis, so suspect some people with a 
software engineering background are at the heart of this group of unpaid 
volunteers.

Tempted to try my hand again at software development and bug fixing after a 
break of many years :-)
