Yeah. Janet did some great work. Thank you Janet! > The only comment is: > in the section on Gender Neutral, last example about feminizing nouns, > maybe the word 'gender' should be used instead of 'sex'. Makes sense to me. I'll change that in the "development" version. > Ddaniel, I think that you suggested that I try first with an into > chapter on Draw. > Need instructions. Okay. We need to give you a chapter that is currently in the review list. Right now I see: * Mail Merge Guide v2. * Calc guide v2 - Appendix B: Keyboard shortcuts. * Styles Reference for Writer. * Calc Appendix D Error Codes. * What is OpenOffice.org? Pick the one that looks most interesting to you. If you want to see a chapter which is approaching the end of the review process, you can grab "What is OpenOffice.org?". This chapter has been reviwed a lot. So it might give you an idea of what we're looking for. Whichever chapter you pick, this is how you start reviewing: 1) Go to the home page (oooauthors.org), scroll down to the review list, and click on the chapter you chose. 2) Download the chapter. 3) "Retract" the chapter (so it drops out of the review list). On the top-right corner select: 'state > retract'. 4) Send a message to this list telling us which chapter you are reviewing. Use a clear subject line (e.g. "Reviewing 'What is OOo'"). When the time comes to hand in your review, let me know. I'll help you. When you review the chapter, keep the following priorities in mind: 1) Accuracy -- that the content is correct. 2) Clarity -- that a 12 year-old could understand easily. Also remember to use "tracking changes" and notes. And if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. The first review is the hardest because everything is new. We're here to help.
