Especially the changes to the Editing Primer. The only comment is:
in the section on Gender Neutral, last example about feminizing nouns, maybe the word 'gender' should be used instead of 'sex'.
That's debateable. The old editorial saw is "Words have gender. People have sex." In these politically-correct times, some people make the distinction that, for people, "sex" is biological, "gender" is social, and they don't always match. Other people just don't like the word "sex" because of its other meanings. (I hope this message makes it through everybody's spam filters! :-) ) I think, in that example, "sexes" makes it clear that the phrase refers to people, not words.
