We work on a different website, using different tools and procedures.
IMO, mixing up discussions of what we do (and how we do it) with
discussions of who's doing what and how at Docs would be incredibly
confusing for all concerned.
I consider that having a mailing list group separate to that of the
Documentation Project's [EMAIL PROTECTED] list to be confusing.
The previous incarnation of the list (where a lot of the Plone setting
up) I can understand being split off from a list that people wished to
use to collaborate on just doing the documentation.
Other projects use different tools within their project, but they don't
have a separate mailing list for the tools. For example, there is no
mailing list especially for those that contribute to the macro wiki, now
at http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/ There are separate lists
for different functional areas.
