Jean, It is OK, and you are not missing anything. The owners of mailing lists change ISP, servers and MLM software, and it is a seamless process. You will often on list for OS or MLM software lists hear requests on procedures to migrate lists from A to B. A couple of years agg when subscribed to the Mailman list ther were frequent new subscribers requesting info on migrating from X to Mailman.
