Aha. This was something like what I was begining to suspect. Mitren's comments about text boxes made me think of what I was doing and while I am reasonably sure I was not using text boxes I also am pretty sure that I was not anchoring frames consistantly either as paragraph or character. I am just going to start revising the file this morning (It's 08:26 here) and I'll go through the file and see if consistantly setting the anchors cures the problem.
