OK, no problem, I was just trying to understand how things work over here... :o) What about the final Getting Started guide available only as a .pdf file? Would it be possible to have that as an OD file so that we can translate it? > > I'm trying to figure out which texts to start translating and I'd like to > > concentrate on the final versions - where should I look for those? > > http://oooauthors.org/en/authors/userguide2/gettingstarted/published_final/ >folder_contents > > It's possible that some of these may say "Draft" in the header. > If so, that is my mistake in forgetting to change the header. I cannot access that page, it tells me that I have "insufficient privileges" - my username is alkat. > Please let us know if you find any errors or other problems. As we are using a CAT tool (OmegaT) we hope that we'll be able to re-use our TMXs for future translations of the documentation. That will only be possible if future versions of the published (and translated) chapters are very similar to the ones we are working on at the moment. How do you plan to update this documentation to future versions of OOo? It would be quite important for us (and for all using a CAT tool) if the structure and sentences used remain as similar as possible to the current version. Thanks again, Alessandro.
