Read Chapter 8 in WG and also read the tutorials for your application.
You should use enough resolution or otherwise the substitution might
have lower quality. I thought my 32-bit BMP shots appeared better than
the 24-bit PNGs, but again, that was my perception.
I use SnagIt 7--probably the industry standard for screen captures. If
do not have any software, try a free evaluation of SnagIt 8 (assuming
you're using XP). Also you can use the open-source GIMP for graphics
too, but you don't need it.
