The German and Dutch translators send corrections or requests for clarifications whenever they find errors or unclear information.
AFAIK, most of the work being done at OOoAuthors in other languages is translations from the English versions. (Thanks, Michele, for letting us know about the Italian work.) I hope we'll hear from other people soon.
It would certainly be great if, as you suggest, there is additional material that could be translated into English. An entire Base Guide would be especially welcome. :-)
