We have people working in several different languages on this
project. I am wondering if some of the others languages contain
information in their guides that are not present in the English
versions. If so, would it be possible to get translations of the
additional information so that we could include it in the English
versions? Could this information be made available in the other
languages as well?
Usually we (German authors) try to stay close to the English original.
When we find some faults or inconsistencies, we inform Jean, as already
happened some times.
At the moment three people of the German authors group is busy to
accomplish a new Draw Guide. And this will be a much bigger problem in
respect to your question because we found so many things in the original
which were not okay that we decided to rewrite and/or amend a lot of
things, bring the chapters and parts of their content in another order
and, in the end, make two new chapters.
This has been a lot of work up to now (and is not ready yet) and the
problem is that noone of our group has the knowledge and time to translate
all the changes to English.
So how can we manage to do this?
The only one I would know of to be able to do this, is Agnes Belzunce but
I have heard nothing of her for a long time here.
Or do you know anyone else in the international community who can
translate the German Draw Guide to English?
Personally I am at a loss with this problem.
Regards,
Wolfgang
