The German and Dutch translators send corrections or requests for
clarifications whenever they find errors or unclear information.
AFAIK, most of the work being done at OOoAuthors in other
languages is translations from the English versions. (Thanks,
Michele, for letting us know about the Italian work.) I hope
we'll hear from other people soon.
It would certainly be great if, as you suggest, there is
additional material that could be translated into English. An
entire Base Guide would be especially welcome. :-)

Thinking about it a while ago someone sent a message on the Italian
users list saying that he had finally completed his personal guide to
base... I will dig into the mailing list archive and see if it is any
good. If not too long I can ask some of the professional translators
who participate to the Italian localization team to work on it.
