The German and Dutch translators send corrections or requests for
clarifications whenever they find errors or unclear information.
As far as I know, you are right that we submitted corrections whenever
found something odd. But to be on the safe side, I will launch the
question on the Dutch mailing list and revert to this list.
Thanks for updating the Getting Started guide, we are presently in the
process of making one guide out of the 17 chapters and of course we will
incorporate all modifications in the final guide.

AFAIK, most of the work being done at OOoAuthors in other languages is
translations from the English versions. (Thanks, Michele, for letting
us know about the Italian work.) I hope we'll hear from other people
soon.
It would certainly be great if, as you suggest, there is additional
material that could be translated into English. An entire Base Guide
would be especially welcome. :-)
