Rewriting the Draw Guide was on my list to do next, so I am happy to
learn that the German team is doing it first. I will certainly do my
best to help find someone to translate it into English!

When do you think the book (or some chapters) would be ready for
translating?
Most of the chapters are ready as far as the content is concerned.
- I still have to replace the screenshots if they are Microsoft ones
because we (authors.de and de.OOo.documentation) decided to use Linux
screenshots wherever possible.
- Some content has still to be completed (very few)
- There is no index yet
- end correction (grammar and spelling) is not yet done
Most of these things are not really of interest for you, I suppose, so if
you want, I could send you all chapters and the whole book (concept), too.
But perhaps it is better to wait for another few weeks and get the
definitive version.
