I think it is related.
We are not pasting text, or loading styles. We are opening files that
worked fine in 2.3.1 and now in 2.4 have the Default style applied to
some -- but not all -- paragraphs that had a custom style before.
(The contents of those files may have originally come from 1.x, but
the actual files have been 2.x files for some time.)

Not that I know. And if I can't find one, I just create the new,
possibly a dup :-)
So that would be my advice. Also add a note that it might be related
to 85461 pls.

Is version 2.3 still available? I would prefer using something reliable
if my livelihood depends, in part, on OOo.
I hear that MS is planning on junking its Vista OS--the newer Windows Me...
