I've seen some weird effects in some files recently, but not that
particular one.
This numbering problem may (or may not) be related to one or more bugs
to do with numbered lists, that should be fixed in m26 or m27.
Or it may be an artefact of the several changes of template that
chapter has gone through in the past few weeks. I'll do a couple of
tests later today and see what I can discover. I can see that the
numbering style has lost its indentation settings, but what might have
caused that needs investigation. I sure hope it doesn't happen in (too
many) other chapters!
Perhaps when Michele comes online again in his morning (8 hours or so
from now), he may have more info.
