Thanks for the note on styles and standardization - will keep that in mind.
I suppose the problem has been avoided for now.

Hello,

I cannot reproduce the error on WindowsXP or on my GNU/Linux Ubuntu 8.10 so
I am not sure I can help.

Note that normally you should NEVER apply font effects directly. Always use
the appropriate character style instead:
Bold --> OOoStrongEmphasis
Italic --> OOoEmphasis

For a menu path use OOoMenuPath (e.g. File > Save As)

For a key stroke Key strokes --> OOoKeystroke  (e.g. Control + X)

Even if the visual effect is the same as Bold or Italic if we decide one day
to make all the menu paths appear in red rather than bold we can do so very
quickly if the character styles have been used.

We do not have a character style for underlined text. Personally I am not a
big fan of underlining, but if everybody else agrees I cannot see why we
should not add it to the template. (OOoVeryStrongEmphasis or
OOoStrongEmphasisUnderlined)

Cheers,

Michele
