I know but always been too lazy to fix them :) as single window manager
refresh call will handle this - this is not yet fully featured TV program 
as Xawtv seems to be almost fullfilling my needs (but of course there
are areas when I disagree with Gerd :) but still they are not that
serious to push me to create my own clone of xawtv :)

avicap usualy should be just configured and then used via quick start
after exiting xawtv...

That's hard question...
I do not want to release something with bugs - and obviously some new
ones are still comming ;)

For some time I trying to preserve compile-compatibity, but we are still
far away from binary compatibility I guess.
