Are you using ColladaMaya for one of its supported versions? 2008/2009 All of my assets are exported through maya. Make sure they are triangulated, and that you didn't unchcek a feature like "export polygon mesh" Also turn off double sided render on the shape group. The only thing that annoys me with away3d/maya is changing the materials(after they have been parsed). I use a dirty work around... assigning every one of my models a lambert called "lam" so that way I don't have to know what it is.. but it is rather annoying not being able to get the materials in a list, you need their id.
These are my maya export settings for ColladaMaya. Everything else is unchecked Triangulate cfgx file references polygon Meshes <------------------------------I think your problem is here Texture Coordinates Normals Normals per vertex YFOV On Jan 4, 2:02 am, Michael <[email protected]> wrote: > Hey all, I have been tearing my hair out.
