Just want to check back in. I managed to make it work, thanks a lot
for all the advice. The problem was something wrong with the original
collada files, or maybe the collada files I was getting from our 3D
guy. Even importing them in and re-exporting them still didn't fix the
problem, but using the original maya files and exporting them with the
settings mentioned above did it. I'm pretty excited for the outcome,
and will post back when it is launched so you all can see it, since
you had a hand in helping make it happen. I am going with away3D, and
so far I really like it. I had a lot of problems with papervision back
in the day.
