Hey i'm still having the same problems, whenever i zoom in the program locks up and the object imported is all white. The program does seem to be faster when not zoomed in though. I've included the model im trying to work with. I dont know if it's me, i tried exporting the objects to .obj with triangles and tried 3ds file.
