a container is an option, but you can just move it as it becomes a Mesh if you do not pass centered:true, it will respect your profile
since it ignores values pass for the rotation axis (aixs = y, only x and z are used) you obviously can pass a profile only in y positive only thing required to move the mesh where you want it, its to change the x and z properties of the generated mesh fabrice On Jul 19, 2010, at 3:02 PM, le_unam wrote: > oh ... got it ... with an objectcontainer. if there is another option > maybe you can tell me ... but it works fine now ... thank you so much > for spending time :-* > > On 19 Jul., 14:44, le_unam <[email protected]> wrote: >> ehm okay one problem with the lathe i have ... how to position or size >> the extrusion? it always has its y-center at y:0, thats not so good >> because my ground is at 0, so its devided by the ground. how can i >> lift the lathe up? >> >> On 19 Jul., 13:51, le_unam <[email protected]> wrote: >> >>> well the latheextrusion is no problem ... thats easy to handle ... the >>> only problem was the rotation value ... my understanding prob was with >>> pathextrusion i think thats quite different to lathe extrusion isnt >>> it? >>> well i think that should now not be your problem, i try the lathe with >>> revolutions ... thank you. >> >>> but whats with prefab? i cant find wrong urls. >> >>> On 19 Jul., 13:42, Fabrice3D <[email protected]> wrote: >> >>>> Look in Lathe tutorial, there's an image 'infographic' >> >>>> Sent from an iPhone without Flash >> >>>> On Jul 19, 2010, at 13:23, le_unam <[email protected]> wrote: >> >>>>> ehm to reply to your prior message ... my prob with pathextrusion is >>>>> the whole thing i think ^^ >> >>>>> maybe you can explain the functional principle ... i dont know why i >>>>> need so much different number3d values for example for path and >>>>> pathextrusion and pathrotation or how its called. i dont know the >>>>> relations between those values. >> >>>>> On 19 Jul., 13:03, Fabrice3D <[email protected]> wrote: >>>>>> as said in prior message, if you pass "rotation" (prior to 3.5) >>>>>> you get a full rotation because the prop is NOT "rotation", its >>>>>> "revolutions" >> >>>>>> so revolutions:.25 should work >> >>>>>> Fabrice >> >>>>>> On Jul 19, 2010, at 12:46 PM, le_unam wrote: >> >>>>>>> hey fabrice thanks for your answer, too ... the rotation value in >>>>>>> lathe doesnt work, right? it always produces a whole circle ... >>>>>>> thats >>>>>>> not useful for my intentions. i need a quarter circle ... 90° :-/ >> >>>>>>> On 19 Jul., 12:40, le_unam <[email protected]> wrote: >>>>>>>> hey thank you ... i downloaded and extracted flex. i get connection >>>>>>>> with flex and flash, too.
