I want a plane to be completely transparent without removing the possibility to interact with it (don't worry, the visual about where this plane is, is given by other elements)

1. If I want a material with parts semi transparent and parts with no transparency I use png materials.

2. plane.addOnMouseDown will still work when with owncanvas alphad out materials.

EG: http://www.allforthecode.co.uk/splash/choice/

3. If you want only parts of the material to be interactive use moviematerial and handle the event Listeners for the mouse the usual way through the movieclip which is used for your moviematerial.
