If it's possible in Away3D, it's possible in Away3D Lite. Usually
advanced features are not included in Away3D Lite but can be added, if
you feel like doing it! I needed a video material but wanted to use
Away3D Lite, so I ported the Away3D video material to Away3D Lite, it
wasn't that hard.

You can always composite the material manually and map it to a cube.
It shouldn't be more taxing than using a Composite Material or
multiple materials as long as you make sure it's built right.
