In regards to the marriage records at the mission San Juan Bautista, I'm told
they don't have any records at the mission any longer. You'll need to go thru
the dioscese. Robin

  Cynthia,

Some of the important clues are on the 1900 census. On it she states her
birthdate was Dec 1851. She also says married 23 years, which would be 1877.
Her husband Antonio was born
  Dec 1840 and immigrated 1860.

I would look for a marriage record at the county recorders in Hollister or at
the Mission San Juan Bautista . The LDS film for the mission church is:

      Marriages 1797-1890 FHL US/CAN
Film

You could also look for the childrens birth records that may list the parents
origin.
