I also do not abbreviate. I ordered both of my great-grandfather's marriage records from Massachusetts. When I got them they were not copies of the originals, they were extracted. The person who wrote out the information said my great-grandfather was born in Arizona (She wrote out the state name). He was from the Azores & only lived in Mass. once he came to the United States.
So?I have 2 documents with incorrect information. Since I received them, years ago,?I do not abbreviate anything in my research.
