I think that I have the films for LAJES, PICO.
Who are you looking for? What time period?
I need the bride and groom and their parents.

Subject: [AZORES-Genealogy] Church Posting of the Banns
Hello Group--
I am researching my mother's paternal line (Madruga) from Freguesia of
Lajes do Pico on the island of Pico. My question is, since I was not
brought up Roman Catholic, would there be any microfilm record
anywhere on the reading or posting of the banns? The church was
Santa Trindade. To obtain the record, if there is in fact public
access, would Joao Ventura or anybody else be able to help me? Does
anyone in the group have any suggestions?

Researching (da) Silva from Santa Maria (don't know as yet what
village or freguesia)
