I found my aunt and uncle (Joseph and Maria/Mary Dias) in the 1930 census in Alameda County (Brooklyn district) California but can't seem to find them anywhere in the 1940 census. I tried ordering death certificates between the 1930 and the 1940 and they couldn't find any.
