My Godparents lived in San Leandro in 1940.  I knew that for sure, but I 
couldn't find them on Ancestry in the 1940 census.  I looked through all of San 
Leandro, page by page, and many of the streets weren't listed.  I went to 
FamilySearch and found my Godparents there.  If you were looking on Ancestry, 
you might want to try FamilySearch.
