Hi Gail,

Are you in the Bay Area? If so, you might want to check with the Cal State 
East Bay (Hayward State) Historical Archives. They have a bound collection 
of Alameda County Voter Affidavits which would cover that area of time. 
Kind of interesting because you see how they were registered, and at what 
addresses. I was able to track an ancestor to all corners of Oakland by way 
of those affidavits.

Also, don't count out Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, in Hayward, as a 
possibility. It's a huge Catholic cemetery in Hayward. I've got relatives 
who were from Oakland that were buried out there, instead of St Mary's, and 
there is no reason why, as they have no other relatives buried out there, 
nor were they living there at the time of death.
