Hi all, Facing a problem with a relative who left S. Miguel to Fall River via de SS Canopic in 1902. Her name was Ermelinda de Jesus daughter of Jacinto de Sousa and Maria de Jesus. She was going to her son Manuel de Paiva who was living at 40 Almond Street at the time.
Problem, her husband's name was Joao da Costa and I'm looking to make the connection to the Paiva family but have been unsuccessful in finding the correct Manuel and hoping someone may have him. He's also connected to Joaquim Simoes de Castro but again, Joaquim's passport place of origin and parents were left blank for some reason. Keeping my fingers crossed.
