Shirley, I don't have a heck of a lot of information on your Margarida de Matos Oliveira other than she is from Vila Franca do Campo and that she married, posibly there Antonio Joao de Medeiors (my 6th cousin 6 times removed) on September 17, 1776 and had a daughter named Maria de Jesus de Medeiors, born May 16, 1777, who married Antonio Joao de Medeiros and they in turn had Joao Jose de Medeiors on may 12, 1806. The problem is that passport record and ship's manifest have conflicting information. The Manifest not only shows a different place of origin for Ermelinda it also added the surname Paiva. Everything else matches. I'm presently searching passports and ship's manifest for her son Manuel. I also have routes in Ponta Garca.
