Very true, João - and there were probably a lot of husbands who were unfaithful to their wives and I know nothing of those children, either! ;)
As for inputing the information, do I list the Benevides information in the notes section of Francisco's entry OR do I list Manuel and Maria Joquina de Benevides as parents with an asterisk and then annotate the info in their entries? I want to try to be consistent when these matters come up and could learn from the wisdom of what others have done. Thanks for all your help.
