Elaine, it is too coincidental if all names and ages match your family?? One thing is for certain, this group is from Ponta Delgada. There could be no mistake because it was all based on providing proof of birth and filing an application to obtain a passport.
You mentioned going back to check the birth records. Can you post your Maria's birth record here from Ribeira Quente, please. Also What time frame are you working with for the passports? Do you know approximate date of their arrival in the USA?
