Subject: [b-hebrew] The root CLH

It is a variant of TLH, 'hang, suspend',
and hence the צלי אש CLIY E$ of Ex. 12:8 is but
a תלי אש TLIY E$, meat hung over a fire.
The act CALAH is also related to דלה DALAH, 'drew up water' as in
Ex.2:19.

CALA צלא may mean 'drew up words from the depth of his heart',
akin to בעה BAAH in Is. 30:13 and Dan. 6:12,
which is a variant of נבע NABA.
