"mighty".

The root L immutably (immutably!) means 'up, on, above'.
 From this root we have EL, ELAH and ALON.
Also עול OL, as in Deut. 28:48, 'yoke', put upon the neck of a  
beast of burden.
Also עול UL, as in Is. 65:20,  'grown'.
Also עלילה ALILA as in Deut. 22:14, 'tall story, heaped  
accusations'.
