I'll take a look at doing something like that a bit later.  I'm quite happy 
with the way Mantis works, and with RT accepting email input, we can even 
have Mantis bugs automatically put into RT if we want. 

In any case, in order to use RT for bugs, we would need something similar to 
perlbug, which we do not have at the current time.  RT as it stands is not 
sufficient to act as a bug reporting system -- perhaps there are bug 
reporting modules, but as I get into RT more, I'll have a chance to look at 
those things.

My main priority with a tracking system for the moment is to get the 
developers organized so they can all see what the others are doing and so 
that we can have some official project page that shows what projects are 
being worked on and by whom.
