Yes, I agree completely.

It didn't stop the Holocaust because after Jesus was no longer physically present,
the Christian community did not have any divinely guided authority to which they could all
turn, which would keep them on the straight path of moral uprightness.
Without such continuing moral guidance, from a divinely inspired source,
it was inevitable that human, fallible beliefs would gradually creep into the Christian
community.
The Baha'is are not morally better than anyone else, but they do have
the Universal House of Justice, whose decisions are guided by Baha'u'llah,
to keep them on the straight and narrow. This Covenant, this continual
flow of divine guidance, is what will protect those who are willing to
be guided.
