I've made it clear that I was talking about a hypothetical future where

Yes, I know what you are saying. But given the fact that the persecution
suffered by Baha'is is real and on-going not hypothetical, to blame of us
for telling the story of that oppression in a less than 'politically
correct' manner is simply not appropriate.

WHERE did I blame any of you? Do you expect to be alive in 200 years? Again, I didn't say that you were currently persecuting Muslims. (And I'm not currently persecuting any Bahais). I'm just talking about the future. About something which I think is a likely scenario. If you want to make a general rule that people shouldn't talk about the future that would be a seperate point. And I've already admitted at least twice that perhaps my comments are premature for the current day.

My hope is that by talking about it now, Bahais of good will might recognize this potential in their community and would work just a teeny bit harder to prove me wrong... not by simply denying and refusing to accept what I'm saying, but by actually being a little bit more careful with how they are thinking about other religious communities.

If you have no interest in doing so, that also doesn't bode well for the future.

Peace
