The Baha'i Studies Listserv Susan, I am curious. I seem to recall that the House dissolved the institutions in Iran shortly after the revolution. This was due, as I understand it, to the fact that Bahais cannot seem to belong to a secret organization. I do remember the issues involved at that time and I don't think I am too far off the mark concerning the legalities, both from the Iranian civil law and Bahai law.
What I don't understand is, when did the House allow something to serve as a de facto NSA? I am puzzled.
