Again, I think you need to distinguish between Abdu'l-Baha is being
descriptive of what was in His time and place and when He is being
prescriptive and telling us what ought to be.

Then explain to me where the progress is.

I'm saying the differences in roles as very exceedingly limited and I
don't think women's exclusion from the House has anything to do with
intrinsic differences. I think it has to do with what we are ready for
at this point. Women couldn't serve on *any* administrative bodies of
the Faith in Iran until 1954. The reason women won't be able to serve
on the House during this dispensation is because we no longer have
anyone (i.e. a Guardian) with the authority to say they can.

A difference exists not an inequality.

Yet if we keep telling women they are not suited for these
opportunities then they are unlikely to take them.
