We are fortunate to have in our community a woman (American) with a lovely a cappella voice. She often "chants" prayers in English.
This reminds me of an American woman who was in my community a year ago. She would often sing prayers at events, however her singing was mediocre and if I were her I would have kept to spoken prayers. She would occasionally get words wrong too, if I remember correctly. LOL.
