Seems to be a good area to start yup. I'd like to refine it a bit though

Too big because the perimeter of the task is fuzzy - there will be lots
of modifications to the user class to add trust levels and gauges, could
be good to pick just one small area (and then make it really good as
time allows).
Too small because I think it would be good to have a direct effect on
the game - if you only work on the backend classes and methods, the
feature wouldn't be complete, as there would be no visible difference
from a user perspective.
[vlad] yes, i was thinking about that. It will be good that each
iteration has a noticeable result for the front end user.
I have in mind that you prefer the work on the backend here - and your
choice shows that ;p To try to keep the frontend part small but still
have something that would be relevant for a user, maybe we could find
something along the lines of "Build a jauge that fills up every time we
complete a mission, and gradually fills down with time". The minimal
quick&dirty implementation of this wouldn't take more than half a day -
then it would be up to you to use the rest of the time to make it good.
That gives you latitude and choice during the day - you can focus on the
server side, building good code, refactoring the classes while you're at
it, etc. And just have a crappy jauge on the client side if that part
isn't interesting for you.
Of course, it's just an example based on your proposition - don't
hesitate to propose alternatives.
[vlad] i think this could work. So, modify the config file and add the
different gauges and refill spedds etc and then work to add one of the
gauges both in backend and frontend.
Btw, what are all the gauges? On the wiki it is mentioned that they are
6 of them, but i could only find 3 if i remember correctly.

Yup, agreed - for this Friday choosing a set of bugs to fix is a good
idea (with of course David's remark in mind, about completing the
current releases before Friday). We can then simply meet in the morning
and choose the bugs each of us would work on. What time do you start in
the morning?
[vlad] i start about 9:30 am my time, whihc is 8:30 yours.
Yup, this sound good. We'll discuss Friday morning which bugs we tackle.
