Yup, I see : ) Which is quite normal, we're all very busy. I'm think about doing something like this - let me know if this would work for you: - You would be able to choose a set of topics that you want to get updates on (gameplay, testing, marketing, etc.) - Whenever there is an important discussion (or a series of interesting discussions), I (and others) would send an email, quickly describing the discussion (and it's status if it's started already) - You would only receive the emails relating to the topics you have chosen - The emails would contain links to the relevant thread(s) in the forum ( http://community.hackit.cx/forum/index.php?t=thread&frm_id=1&; ) - if you want to read the details, ask a question or make a comment, you would be able to go there. > hehe yes, I felt a little uncomfortable asking about the test on the > list... i thought people could think I wasn't caring much about the > project and didn't bother to read the threads... but now I have the > link! Ah, you have spotted two good issues, yes. The lack of explanations at the beginning of the game is a problem for almost every player, it's very confusing. There are two things planned about this for now: first, instead of showing Google, we'll show a page explaining a bit about the game, and when we have this, we want to look at adding missions - the first one would start immediately when you enter the game for the first time, and teach you how to play. The second issue you had is a bug, that happens with many websites - it's a large issue actually, that's hard to solve. It's going to take some time to fix it, but there are a few leads already. In the meantime, you will have to avoid navigating to the sites that make the game bug, like last.fm. Also, when you find a website like that one which is not on this list: http://community.hackit.cx/wiki/Proxy_-_Websites_with_Bugs , you can add it (click on "Edit"), this way we know what's not working properly. I'll let you try to explore a bit more (hopefully on websites that work with hackit ;p), to avoid influencing your perception with explanations. I'm especially interested in what you would want to be able to do with the game. (Right now you can't do much : ) ) Feel free to ask more questions - it's also a very good way to find out about what is confusing.
