Yup, the idea came up on Saturday, after a night of playing board
games.:D So it's a surprise to me too, actually ;p

Agreed - I only propose it because it's so simple that it doesn't
require much care from us. It's a small development, with no game design
and almost no specification work (just explaining it made most of the
work there) with mostly graphic work lying on Deborah's hands.

It's a possibility, but I think it will be quite some time before we can
actually do that. There are a lot of questions open at the moment, that
will likely take some time, likely months, to end up on the live
version, even with an incremental approach.

The idea here is more to have something quick that can be finished in a
few weeks. The game design is well tested already: it will allow to just
test the social/viral part, and it's likely to be an easy win -
something I think we could use right now, as I think discussions are
sometimes slightly more tense than they should be.

Simply because I didn't had the idea before, it came from actually
playing games - I saw existing game mecanisms from an already successful
genre that had a viral potential.

Also, we talked about these kind of things in the past, no? About taking
an existing gameplay from a genre, and applying it on Facebook just to
gain experience. We kind of abandoned that step when we had the idea of
Hackit, but it doesn't make it less relevant. I honestly thought you
would be happy to read this proposition while I was writing it.

Yes, I liked the idea too - that's how the concept for the alpha1
emerged. But it's a new idea, and we know how difficult, long and
risky it can be to bring new ideas to fruition. I think we need
something more light, it would help to gain in confidence..

Xavier.
