Objet : [HackIt Bar] [Marketing] [Game design] Small facebook game?

Hi,

Given the fact that we probably won't have a version of Hackit that's good
enough to add social connectivity so soon, I'm thinking of a small game that
could help us test the waters on Facebook & co in the meantime. The idea would
be to start experimenting, and maybe even start to build an audience.

[David] well… thanks for the work - I haven’t read the mock-ups yet, I’m going
to, but I must admit that this is a complete surprise to me.

My first reaction would be that we should increase the speed on hackit, and
that’s the priority. Maybe add social features quicker than expected, actually.
Now, developing a social game… why not, but why did not you first discuss the
idea and the reasons you have before providing a gameplay ? We actually had 9
months ago an idea for a very simple social game from Aurelien, based on 2
factions, attack and identify points (more identify than attack points per
day), and I thought the idea was simple and brilliant. I’m not comparing your
idea with his, I’m just trying to understand why you did not discuss other
possibilities before digging into your game. I’ll think about your idea of
course, but I must admit that I’m surprised with the way it’s brought to the
table.
